Day 1 – On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be assisted and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Nairobi.

Day 2 – After breakfast, check out of the hotel and you will be transferred to Nyeri, a small but fast-growing town in the heart of the coffee-growing and dairy-farming area in the so-called former White Highlands of Kenya. After a sumptuous lunch, you will proceed to tree hotel where the evening is spent watching a succession of animals that emerge from the forest and descend on floodlit water holes and salt lick, scuffling, and jostling for a good vantage position. At night if you want to remain awake and watch the show Elephants may engage in a show of strength with each other but even they would be reluctant to challenge the rhino. The herbivores keep their distance from these two competitors. You are required to pack an overnight bag when you transfer to the Ark for the night. Overnight at Ark.

Day 3 – After breakfast, check out and proceed for a short drive to Mount Kenya (17,058 feet). You also get a chance to stop at the Equator. With magnificent views of majestic Mount Kenya, the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club Resort’s 120 luxuriously appointed hotel rooms, set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens, offer a unique blend of comfort, relaxation, and adventure. Originally the retreat of movie star and Club founder, William Holden, the Club’s illustrious former members have included Winston Churchill and Bing Crosby. There are many recreational activities available: horseback riding, golf, croquet, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, a beauty salon, an animal orphanage, and much more. After lunch, enjoy the activities at the hotel. Overnight in Mount Kenya.

Day 4 – After breakfast, check out of the resort and you will be transferred to Lake Nakuru/Naivasha. Enroute cross over the top of the Aberdare range of mountains, stopping briefly to gaze at the 73m Thompson’s Falls, named after Joseph Thompson the Scots explorer, who was the first European to see the Falls in 1884. Continue to Nakuru for lunch. After lunch proceed for an exciting game drive. The game in this Park is plentiful and the magnificent bird-watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. The Park is home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which turn the lakeshores into a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world-renowned and over 400 bird species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Overnight in Lake Nakuru/Naivasha.

Day 5 – After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. Lunch will be served at the Lodge/ camp. After lunch depart for an afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve – one of the greatest wildernesses in the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents among the Parks are Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland, and thousands of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles. Overnight in Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 6 – After breakfast, proceed on a morning game-viewing drive to search for the myriad species of game that make this reserve their home. If you are lucky, you can witness the kill in action, moment by moment, right in front of your unbelieving eyes! After a sumptuous lunch at your lodge, proceed for another exciting game drive, where you can expect to see the famous ‘Big 5’. Overnight in Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 7 – After breakfast, check out from the hotel and you will be driven to Nairobi airport (250 kms/ 5.5hrs approximately) for your return flight.
