One of the most famous and among the most visited attractions in the USA, the Grand Canyon has astonished visitors for years. The Grand Canyon as seen today started out as a series of smaller canyons 70 million years ago, being gradually carved out by the marvellous Colorado river.
Standing at the rim of the canyon is unnerving to say the least! The earth seems to fall off the edge to give way to expanses of gorges, plateaus, and peaks. The canyon is 6,000-foot, 277-mile-long and the sheer size of the stone walls along the sky will make you feel tiny compared to them.
A series of turquoise streams rush in and out of rust-red cliffs and cascade through the pools. At the bottom of the canyon, lies the pulsing and persistent Colorado River, which has carved the gorge over 70 million years.
Niagara Falls is probably the most famous waterfall in the world. The second you see the cascading waters of Niagara River rumbling down a 188-foot waterfall at an extreme speed, your jaw is going to drop.
Due to the impact of the falls, a cool misty fog sets upon the entire area and you can hear the roaring sound of the water from miles away.
From the top, crowds flock to the railings to feel the mist on their faces. If you follow the water's path downward, you will find boats, platforms and observation decks filled with tourists.
An iconic symbol of the United States of America, the Statue of Liberty was a gift from France to the United States. It commemorated the alliance of France and the United States during the American Revolution and the subsequent abolition of slavery.
The “Lady Liberty” is a personification of the Roman goddess of Freedom and Independence, named Libertas. The tablet she holds is inscribed with the date of the United States Declaration of Independence.
The seven spikes of her crown represent the seven oceans and continents of the world. Lastly, her torch is a symbol of enlightenment shining upon the world.
The Statue of Liberty is not only an important part of history but also celebrates the great American dream.
Times Square is New York’s bright, big, pulsing heart and something that cannot be missed on your journey to the USA.
It ranks among the world’s most visited tourist attractions. Drawing a whopping 50 million visitors annually, the glitz and glamour of the Times Square is unmissable.

America’s first national park, Yellowstone National Park was inaugurated on March 1, 1872. Since then millions of travellers from all over the world have visited this place to experience its rich biodiversity and its geothermal features.
Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone’s largest spring, is a sight to behold! It justifies its name, due to the prism-like effect created by the variety of colours such as blue, turquoise, yellow, and orange.
The different colours represent the different water temperatures and the different thermophiles, or organisms, that live in these high-temperature environments. This surreal basin measures 370 feet in length and is more than 160 feet deep.
Yellowstone is teeming with wildlife. Grizzly bears, bison, elk, wolves, sheep, deer, moose, antelope, and birds are just some of the animals that call this place home. Besides wildlife spotting, there are a lot of other activities here like camping, fishing, and kayaking.
