Itinerary in brief

Day 1

HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL & TOUR

Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, complete immigration, and transfer to the hotel (early check-in included).
After lunch, begin a city tour of Ho Chi Minh City.
Visit Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon and Saigon Central Post Office.
Continue to the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum.
Visit Ben Thanh Market and enjoy views from Saigon Skydeck.
Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2

CU CHI TUNNELS – MEKONG DELTA

After breakfast, visit Cu Chi Tunnels and watch an introductory documentary.
Continue to My Tho and board a boat cruise around the Mekong Delta islands.
Cruise through canals to Ben Tre and enjoy a traditional sampan ride.
Visit a local honey farm and experience village life with a horse-cart or tuk-tuk ride.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3

HO CHI MINH CITY – DA NANG – HOI AN

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang.
Upon arrival, transfer to Hoi An.
Evening at leisure to explore the lantern-lit streets and riverside area.
Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 4

BA NA HILLS – HOI AN TOUR

After breakfast, visit Ba Na Hills by cable car.
Walk across the famous Golden Bridge.
Visit Linh Ung Pagoda and explore attractions at the summit, including Fantasy Park.
Return to Hoi An for a guided Old Town walking tour.
Visit the Fukian Assembly Hall, view the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Museum of Folk Culture, and the Tan Ky Old House.
Enjoy a boat ride on the Thu Bon River and the lantern floating ceremony.
Explore Nguyen Hoang Night Market.
Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 5

COCONUT VILLAGE – DA NANG – HANOI

After breakfast, visit Cam Thanh Coconut Village and enjoy a traditional basket boat ride.
Transfer to Da Nang airport for your flight to Hanoi.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 6

HANOI CITY TOUR

After breakfast, begin a city tour of Hanoi.
Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside view) and the One Pillar Pagoda.
Continue to Tran Quoc Pagoda and Temple of Literature.
Visit Hoa Lo Prison Museum and walk along Hanoi Train Street.
Stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter.
Photo stops at Hanoi Opera House and St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Hanoi.
Evening Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre show.
Overnight stay in Hanoi

Day 7

HA LONG BAY CRUISE

After breakfast, drive to Tuan Chau Harbour.
Board Le Journey Cruises and begin cruising through Ha Long Bay.
Sail through Lan Ha Bay while enjoying lunch on board.
Kayaking or swimming at Ba Trai Dao Island.
Enjoy sunset views and a cooking demonstration on the cruise.
Dinner on board.
Overnight stay on the cruise in Lan Ha Bay.

Day 8

HA LONG BAY – HANOI – DEPARTURE

Morning cruise through Lan Ha Bay.
Visit Quan Y Cave.
Return to the cruise, check out, and enjoy brunch on board while sailing back.
Disembark at Tuan Chau Harbour and transfer to Hanoi.
Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
