Turkey is a historical gem and blessed with natural wonders. It is located on the Anatolian peninsula in Western Asia and the Balkan Peninsula in Southeastern Europe. The beautiful country is enveloped by sea on three sides – the Aegean Sea to the west, the Black Sea to the north, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. The uniqueness of Turkey is lined up with warm colours, sun-kissed beaches, pine-covered forests, and historic Roman architectural gems. There is no scarcity of exceptional views in Turkey and it is home to 16 UNESCO World Heritage sites. Starting from the largest remnants of the ancient Roman Empire to the magnificent white travertine terraces of Pamukkale, Turkey has it all.
Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel and check in. In the evening, go on a private cruise on Bosphorus-Hodjapasha. Later enjoy a performance of the whirling Dervishes. Then, visit the Galata Tower at the end of Istiklal Street. Also enjoy a walking tour in Istiklal Street, the most vibrant spot in Istanbul, located in Taksim. Stay overnight in Istanbul.
After breakfast, visit Princes’ Island in the Marmara Sea. You will next join an hour-long boat trip and visit Heybeliada or Burgazada Island and the biggest island of Buyukada famous for its clean air. Next, enjoy a Horse-Carriage Ride to the top of the island and enjoy the beautiful views. Stay overnight in Istanbul.
After breakfast, proceed to the Sultanahmet district, the oldest and most historic part of the city. The first stop of the day will be at the Hagia Sophia, your guide will explain the significance of this massive structure that was once a Christian church, then a mosque, and now a museum. Later you will pass the Hippodrome of Constantinople, en-route you will see the sites of the impressive obelisk, before reaching the Blue Mosque.
Next, you will continue to the Grand Bazaar, a massive, bustling complex where you can find ethnic clothing, decorative furnishings, exotic local cuisine, and many more.
En-route Grand Bazaar, you can visit other historical monuments, like the Tomb of Sultan Ahmet I, the Firuz Aga Mosque, and the exterior of the Tomb of Mehmed II. After lunch, you will visit Topkapi Palace, the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Istanbul airport from where you will fly to Cappadoccia. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and checked in. Have your dinner and stay overnight in Cappadoccia.
Enjoy an hour-long Hot Air Balloon Ride. Later, have your breakfast at the hotel. Next, you will visit the Red Valley and discover rock-cut churches and hike 5 km through the Valley of Gulludere. Later, go on a visit to Cavusin village, an ancient Cavusin abandoned since the 11th Century. Your special lunch will be a selection of Turkish Cuisine. In the afternoon, you will drive to the Pigeon Valley. It is famous for panoramic views of the Underground City, dating back to the Hittites. Have dinner and stay overnight in Cappadocia.
After breakfast, an impressive day will start with a visit to Dervent Valley, Pasabag “fairy chimneys”. Take a short break at the Avanos center of terracotta art. You will discover here, famous ceramic art dating back to 3000 BC in the area that has survived for many generations. Later, go on a visit to the ceramic and tile center to see hand-made ceramics. After lunch, visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum. Also visit the carpet weaving co-operation to see how the Turkish carpet is made by hand. Enjoy the Goreme Valley from next to the Uchisar Rock-Castle. Later, you will be transferred to Kayseri airport to take a domestic flight to Antalya. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and stay overnight in Antalya.
After breakfast, your sightseeing tour begins at around 9:30 in the morning.
First, head to the Duden Waterfalls National Park, the most visited in the Antalya region.
Walkthrough this beautiful park and listen to the sound of rushing water.
Behind the main waterfall, there is a natural cave where you can watch the cascades.
Have lunch at a local restaurant. Have one hour and a half of leisure time to explore the old town (Kaleici) and other attractions of the city: Hadrianus Gate, Clock Tower, Kesik Minare (Truncated Minaret) Later, transfer to Antalya airport to take a domestic flight to Izmir. On arrival at Izmir, you will be transferred to Kusadasi and checked in to your hotel where you will have your dinner and stay overnight.
Pick up from your hotel at around 08:00 for the tour of Pamukkale & “Cotton Castle”.
Upon arrival, you will visit the travertine and the ancient city of Hierapolis which has the biggest Necropolis with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. Also visit the Sacred Pool, one of the highlights of the site (entrance fee is 35 TL per person extra self-payment). Later, return to your hotel and have dinner. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.
Check out after breakfast. Your tour today starts from the Port of Kusadasi and then proceeds to the House of the Virgin Mary, views of the Byzantine fortress in Selcuk and the Temple of Artemis are notable. Hike to the Shrine of St. Mary, situated in the Solmissos Mountains. Your tour continues to ancient Ephesus, where you’ll pass through the arched Magnesia Gate and begin a slow, downhill walk to the ruins of the Roman provincial capital.
Your guide will highlight such sights as the beautifully preserved Temple of Hadrian, the magnificent Trojan Fountain, the Odeon Theater, once used for both political and entertainment purposes, and the beautiful Celsus Library with its imposing façade and two-story Corinthian-style columns. The dramatic Great Theater is one of the few structures still used today. It seats twenty-five thousand and, although it was once an arena for gladiator games, it is now home to annual spring festivals. Temple Of Artemis (Diana), on the side of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
Next, drive to the Izmir airport to fly to Istanbul by domestic flight. On arrival, check-in and stay overnight in Istanbul.
After breakfast, transfer to the Istanbul airport for onward/ return journey.
