OVERVIEW

MALDIVES TOUR PACKAGES FROM INDIA 2024

The Maldives is an island nation made up of two hundred islands which are all different in their own unique ways. There are over 1,100 coral islands. The archipelago comprises 26 atolls. An atoll is a ring-shaped coral reef, island, or series of islets and surrounds a body of water called a lagoon. The islands and reefs are of varying shapes, depths and sizes that present remarkable hues of blue, turquoise to indigo.

With over two hundred inhabited islands, the unique Maldivian lifestyle was shaped over millennia. The culture, cuisine and craft were shaped by the resources that were available from the surroundings.

The Maldives is blessed with about 5 percent of the global reef area with over 250 species of coral and over 1000 species of fish. As the Maldives is 99 percent water and just one percent land, there are a lot of adventures waiting for you on or under water. Most tourists who visit the Maldives snorkel or dive and to experience the colourful marine life beneath the surface. A dive centre is a must in any resort and there are many dive centres in most of the guesthouse islands. Some resorts also offer relaxing canoe rides, windsurfing or underwater scooter rides.

A spa is a soul-soothing experience in the Maldives. Indulge yourself in the sprawling garden spas, with massage rooms merged into the lush tropical surroundings. There are also the ones built on stilts over the crystalline waters of the lagoon, providing an opportunity for you to splurge on your mind, body, and soul. For a more romantic experience try booking a relaxing couple’s massage. Flying Squirrel Holidays also helps you plan a perfect romantic getaway with our Maldives honeymoon packages from India with special Maldives packages for couples.

If you are a thrill seeker you have a ton of options. Take bouncy banana rides with friends and family, a solo ride trimming the waves on a jet ski ride or skimming the lagoon at high speeds on a wakeboard. For the serious water sports enthusiast, you have kitesurfing, parasailing or just navigating solo around the reefs on a catamaran.

Apart from the beach and sand island glory, the capital Male is popular among tourists for the bustling markets, lively art, and culture among other historic architectural creations.

Visited Thailand (Bangkok & Phuket) with my family in January 2024 through this tour operating company. They prepared a customised itinerary for us, booked our hotels at both locations and arranged all associated transportation and sight-seeing tours. We had an enjoyable trip. Both hotels were good. The tours and transportation too were good and very well arranged by their local tour partners. They had created an Whatsapp group for close monitoring of our tour, which was very effective and assuring. Many thanks to the Flying Squirrel Holidays team !
