HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL – EXPLORE HO CHI MINH CITY

After some time for rest, proceed for a guided tour of Ho Chi Minh city:

EXPLORE CU CHI TUNNEL - MEKONG DELTA
Post breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta region in a private vehicle
Visit the iconic site of Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about the history of the Vietnam War. Get an opportunity to crawl some distance of the tunnels in order to witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps which were spread for the US soldiers
Next, head to My Tho, famous for extensive orchards and large swathes of rice fields. Photo-stop at Cao Dai Temple in the town of Ben Luc.
Cruise around the famous four beautiful islands named after four sacred animals in Buddhism. See the floating fish farm, water-coconut palms along the tiny canals to reach the ‘coconut homeland’ Ben Tre.
Enjoy a sampan ride through the small waterways. Learn how to make coconut candy, visit the honey bee farm and try the honey, banana wine, ginger jams, soy beans made by the villagers
Enjoy a horse-cart around the village and visit the local houses of the villagers

Post breakfast proceed for a day tour of Ba Na Hills with a designated guide:
Experience the record breaking cable car system (longest and highest in 2009) up to the top of the hill and enjoy the beautiful sights of Mo stream, Toc Tien waterfall with the impressive dazzling white spume.
Take a walk on Vietnam’s Golden Bridge. Visit Le’ Jardin, the magnificent remains of French villas. See the Linh Ung Pagoda with the 88 feet tall Lord Buddha statue.
Next, reach the top of the mountain at the Nui Chua Peak . Later, take the cable car ride back to the foot of the hills.
Return to Hoi An for a tour of the town:
Visit the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, one of five official assembly halls in Hoi An established in 1697 AD. See the iconic 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Chua Ong Pagoda, a centuries-old spiritual treasure trove of Hoi An which was established in 1653. Visit the 200 years old Tan Ky old house, a living museum in Hoi An. Visit the bustling Hoi An Central Market and the silkworm & handicraft workshops.
End the evening with a Lantern Floating Experience on a boat on the river.

Post breakfast, check-out of the hotel and meet our representative at the hotel lobby for a private transfer to the Tuan Chau harbor, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006. The road will pass by the Red River delta with green paddy fields and rural villages.
Upon arrival in Ha Long Bay, embark the cruise. Discover the magnificent beauty of this ‘Descending Dragon’ Bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes.
Post lunch on board, get to visit the grottos, stop for swimming or kayaking, passing floating houses and approach islets to enjoy the beauty in close distance
