Jim Corbett killed a lot of these man-eating tigers, but he found out that tigers preferred to kill humansunder some specific situations or conditions, either when they were threatened by humans or if they weren’t capable of hunting.
Jim Corbett requested the government to have a place where tigers could live without any danger. It was under his request that Hailey National Park was established to provide a saferefuge for tigers.
