Hong Kong

If Hong Kong rubs its shoulders with New York and London, then our holiday in this part of the world is just as fast paced. There’s Victoria Peak to start off with and we suggest you take the Peak Tram, the 120-year-old funicular railway that departs from its terminus on Garden Road. Do arrive a half-hour before sundown and watch as the city lights come on in their multi-coloured brilliance. Hong Kong’s street markets have a charm of their own, so visit the busy Kowloon street markets in Mongkok and watch out for the Bird Market, Flower Market, and Goldfish Market! In some of these street markets, you can buy kitschy and cool memorabilia, unique fruits and a motley assortment of food and spices. For more upscale shopping trips, we can take you to Hong Kong Central, where you can undergo hours of retail therapy at Landmark Square, Pacific Place, Galleria Square and Horizon Plaza. Plan a shop-and-dinner day at the IFC Mall rooftop with its spectacular view over the harbor.

Food trips in Hong Kong are just as mind boggling and if you go on one, definitely taste the heavenly dumplings.Other places to explore in Hong Kong? Visit Causeway Bay with its numerous shopping malls. Take a Cable Car ride to Lantau Island, explore the Ngong Ping Village with its monastery and Big Buddha, Hong Kong Disneyland if you have kids and Ocean World and Harbour City (the largest multi purpose shopping mall in Hong Kong). We’d also like to suggest a full-day boat ride on a chartered iconic Chinese fishing boat, with lunch and drinks and night shopping at the Temple Street Night Market
