A Heritage Tea Holiday in the Himalayas

A Heritage Tea Holiday in the Himalayas

Imagine waking up in the idyllic serenity of a tea estate with the majestic views of the Himalayas to please your senses as you sip in the first flush, enjoying its richness and colour. Imagine a slow and sublime world that refreshes your senses, relaxes the frayed nerves, and transports you back to a few hundred years when tea planters and their fashionable old-world bungalows charmed wearied travellers.  A walk or drive through the famous tea gardens, learning how to pluck the “two leaves and a bud”, nature walks, a bit of organic farming, interacting with local communities, endless sessions of tea tasting, spending hours with your favourite books at the old colonial bungalow, and just watching life take a break – that’s what tea trails in Bengal are all about.

Famously called the "champagne of teas", Darjeeling tea is grown in the foothills of the Himalayas in the state of West Bengal. Some of the bushes are as old as 150 years and is considered as one of the world’s most expensive tea.

Join us on a perfect retreat as we explore the tea gardens, hilly landscapes, monasteries and much more through an adventure of a lifetime.
