The Varkala Beach in Kerala has the northern and the southern parts. There is nothing much to see in the southern area except a Hindu temple. Most tourists throng the northern part which is carefully positioned at the bottom of a cliff. The Kozhikode beach is known for its amazing sunsets; they are the best and it will be a shame to miss them. The horizon takes on the riot of colours from the setting sun and provides the most amazing view. The picture-perfect view of the sea along with the lovely sunset will make you yearn for more.

The Kappil beach has still retained some of its freshness and charm and this unique combination makes it a favourite among those who look for some solitude. The scenic beauty of the place cannot be described in words; the experience needs to be absorbed. The Chavakkad beach in Trissur district is still secluded from tourist intrusion; however, there are quite a few prominent features of this beach, the most famous being the estuary where the rivers merge with the sea.
